Is The Zum really free?
Yes. No monthly fees and no setup fees. You can create the store, add products, and receive orders without paying The Zum.
Are there hidden fees?
No fees from The Zum. Your chosen payment gateway or shipping company may charge their own fees; those are third parties you deal with directly.
Do you take a percentage of sales?
No. You keep 100% of every sale.
Do I need a card or documents?
No. Signing up and starting a store require no card and no documents.
How long does it take to create the store?
Minutes. Preparing products, photos, and descriptions may take longer, but the store itself is ready quickly.
The store and products
Do I need technical experience?
No. Name the store, choose a look, and add your products. You need no coding and no hosting.
Can I sell any type of product?
It depends on your country and your payment gateway's terms. Some products are legally prohibited or restricted. Check local requirements before launching; compliance is your responsibility.
Can I move my store from another platform?
Yes. Create your store on The Zum and add your products. How you move data depends on the previous platform; you can start with your best-selling products and add the rest later.
Payment and shipping
How do I connect a payment gateway?
You choose the payment gateway and connect it to your account. When a customer pays, the transaction goes through the gateway to your account directly.
Where does my money go?
To your account, through the payment gateway you connected. It does not pass through The Zum.
How do I set up shipping?
From the dashboard, define shipping regions, delivery time, and cost. Clarity here reduces questions after purchase.
Ownership, privacy, and support
Is my data encrypted?
Yes. Your data is encrypted, and even our backend cannot see your internal data.
Is the store mine?
Yes. The store is yours and stays yours.
